If you hold a passport from the Australia, Canada, or USA, and are planning to visit Brazil for:

Tourism

(Sightseeing, holidays, or family visits)

Business

(Attend conferences or seminars; participate in meetings with Brazilian partners; visit clients, attend training, or explore business opportunities)

Transit

(For travelers passing through Brazil en route to another destination, provided the stay does not exceed 72 hours).

Required Documents

Here’s a breakdown of what you’ll need to submit, depending on your visa type:

General Requirements (All Visa Types)

Valid passport:

Must be valid for the entire stay + 6 months after departure date, with at least 2 blank pages (which will be used for your entry and exit stamp). You will need a color scan of the bio page of your passport without any glare or fingers on it. Ensure that the MRZ code is fully visible (two lines bar code at the bottom of the bio page).

Passport-sized photo:

Recent, color photo with a white background, sized 3.5 x 4.5 cm (413 x 531 pixels). Ensure that your nose, mouth, eyes and both ears are clearly visible. Do not wear glasses or head covering and ensure no teeth or shadows are visible in the picture).

Proof of round-trip flight:

Confirmed reservations showing entry and exit from Brazil.

Proof of accommodation:

Confirmed reservations of hotel, Airbnb etc. If you’re staying as an invited guest, an invitation letter from your host should be enough.

Visa application fee:

Paid online via credit or debit card.

Additional Documents - Business eVisa

Official business letter on company letterhead, including:

Applicant’s job title, purpose of the trip, and trip duration.

Description of the applicant’s company and the Brazilian partner.

Contact details of the Brazilian company.

Confirmation that no paid work or technical assistance services will be performed.

Statement confirming the company will financially support the traveler.

For Minors (Under 18 Years Old)

Original birth certificate

Valid passports or ID photos of both parents

Signed parental authorization form:

If only one parent is listed or has custody, legal documents must support it

If one parent is deceased, a death certificate is required

For children of Brazilian parent(s):

Statement of Non-Citizenship declaring that the applicant is not a Brazilian citizen

Visa Validity & Stay Duration

Valid for up to 10 years from the date of approval (restrictions may be applicable)

Allows multiple entries

Maximum stay: 90 days per year (all visits to Brazil will be considered)

Extensions (up to 180 days per year) must be requested directly from the Brazilian Federal Police, while in Brazil
