Consulting and assistance to Brazilian employers (individuals or company) in the process of getting visas for foreigner employees.
Work Visas
The Migration Law (Law 13,445/2017) and Decree 9,199/2017, which regulates the status of foreigners in Brazil, establish legal competence to the General
Immigration Coordination (CGIg) to authorize the work of the foreigner, while it
is to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to issue the respective visa and to the Ministry of Justice/Federal Police to control the entry, stay and exit of foreigners.
In this context, in order for the foreigner to work in Brazil, with employment bond or not, with exceptions, it is necessary to obtain a work permit from the General Immigration Coordination (CGIg), as well as to comply with current legislation, especially the specific rules prepared by the National Immigration Council in the form of Normative Resolutions.
